Allelica's Multi-Ancestry Polygenic Risk Score (PRS) test and AbsoluteDx CAD test help you and your doctor understand your genetic risk of cardiovascular disease, empowering you to take steps to reduce your overall risk.

The tests analyze hundreds of thousands of genetic variants across your DNA to calculate your PRS - a powerful measure of your personal, inherited risk of developing disease.

Allelica's tests are clinically validated across diverse ancestry groups, ensuring accuracy and equity for everyone. There are 2 types of tests available based on what your Penn physician has recommended:

Allelica PRS Test: This test assesses your risk of cardiovascular disease based on common variants in your DNA.

Allelica AbsoluteDx Test: This test assesses your risk of cardiovascular disease based on both rare and common variants in your DNA. AbsoluteDx combines a standard familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) panel with PRS testing.

To order the test:

1. Fill out the order form on this page
2. Make payment for the test. PRS tests are $199, and AbsoluteDx tests are $499.
3. After completing steps 1 & 2, Allelica will send you a test kit in the mail and email with information on the next steps.
